mal ne Frage. Ich verwende zur Zeit die 1.0.1 r19024. Wenn ich jetzt auf 1.0.2 update muss ich mit irgend welchen Einschränkungen rechnen, also kann ich meine alten Savegames und vor allem 32-Bit (extra-zoom) weiter verwenden?
Achja, was bedeutet dieses r19024 und r20000 genau, also warum gibt es das und noch zusätzlich v1.01 und 1.02 usw, wie darf ich das verstehen, wonach muss ich mich richten?
r20000 bedeutet, dass die Entwickler zum 20000sten Mal eine Änderung commitet, also dem gemeinsamen Pool von Dateien ("trunk" genannt) hinzugefügt haben. Das "r" steht hierbei für Revision. Zwischen r19024 und r20000 liegen also 976 Änderungen am Spiel. Weil es keinen Sinn macht, für jede kleine Änderung eine neue offizielle Version (1.0.1, 1.0.2 etc.) herauszugeben, werden üblicherweise einige hundert commits abgewartet und erst dann offizielle Versionen veröffentlicht. Die neuste offizielle Version, 1.0.2, ist identisch mit r20000. Aus dem Zustand des trunks nach dem commit r20000 wurde die Version 1.0.2 kompiliert.

Zusätzlich sei noch angemerkt: Savegames, die mit gepatchten Versionen erstellt wurden sind sehr häufig inkompatibel mit Trunk-Revisionen. Mag beim extra-zoom anders sein, aber man weiß ja nie...

Also ich hab jetzt etwas recherchiert und rausgefunden, dass die 32-Bit-Spieldaten immer hinterher hinken und man mit denen noch nicht r20000 spielen kann (die neuste Version ist r19600)
