Hallo,
ich hab mir einen Gameserver bei dawn-server.de gemietet läuft auch alles sehr gut. Bis auf das ich anscheinend zu blöd bin die mods einzufügen . Hat schon jemand erfahrung damit gemacht?
Die mods hab ich schon mit FileZilla hochgeladen aber ich bekomm sie halt nicht zum starten .

Hallo und willkommen im Forum,
dein Hoster hat mir bis eben nichts gesagt... Scheinbar bieten sie vorkonfigurierte OpenTTD-Server an.
Mit Mods meinst du bestimmt NewGRFs. Wo diese in der Konfiguration deines Hosters abzulegen sind, kann man ohne Details schlecht herausfinden. Im Zweifelsfall müsste dein FTP-Verzeichnis ja eine Ordnerstruktur haben, die der von OpenTTD ähnelt. Wenn du sie da in den richtigen Ordner einfügst und in der Konfiguration einträgst, klappt es vielleicht.
Gibt es seitens des Hosters eine Anleitung?

Genau die NewGRFs öhm hochgeladen hab ich sie schon in den Ordner. Ich hab halt nur ne openttd.cfg zum editieren.
Was müsste ich denn da eintragen bzw wo ? Ich post mal die Config

Ganz unten in der Konfig gibt es 2 Punkte:
Die NewGRFs für dein Spiel einfach unter newgrf auflisten.
Ich meine, die Formatierung der Einträge lautet:
Hinter die = kommen noch die Parameter, wenn welche gesetzt wären.
Einfacher ist es eventuell, wenn du dir im normalen Spiel lokal die GRFs im Hauptmenü einstellst und die Zeilen dann aus der lokalen Konfigurationsdatei in die Datei vom Server kopierst.

Raus kopieren und einfügen hat geklappt =) vielen dank server läuft öhm wisst ihr ob man den Autosave höher als Jährlich einstellen kann ?

Der erste Punkt unter [GUI]
Auch hier wieder am besten den Wert vom lokalen Programm übernehmen. Da weiß ich die Werte nicht auswendig.

Vermutlich ist es am einfachsten, in einem Offline Spiel in Ruhe alle Einstellungen einzustellen, zu speichern, und dann einfach die gesamte openttd.cfg auf den ftp Server kopieren

ich rufe diesen älteren Beitrag noch einmal auf, weil ich gerne wissen möchte, ob ich die Möglichkeit habe innerhalb der Server Konfigurationen Änderungen an der Cargo Distribution vorzunehmen (rot umrandet).
